Call to Order Chair Berke called the meeting of the Town of Troy Park Board to order at 7:00 p.m. Meeting was held via Zoom Teleconference/Video Teleconference due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 2. Public Comment Request by Chair for any comments. She acknowledged resident Pam Ellingson who asked if there’s any kind of forestry management plan at Glover Park, and that tree loss in the wooded areas may be unhealthy. She also expressed concern with chemical spraying for buckthorn. Policy has been to let trees naturally decompose which is a beneficial practice, as described by member Freund. Chair indicated that board will have a DNR representative or other forester talk with the board in the future about tree restoration; also, that signage will be posted when treatment is done per the Park Board’s earlier discussions. 3. Also discussed if the budget was approved or not at the Nov. 2020 Town Board meeting. The Clerk confirmed that when the Town approved the overall budget in Nov. that the Park Board numbers for expenses and capital were included. Town Chair Dan Pearson confirmed that the parks 2021 budget was approved. Supr. Cuccia did research and found that up until 2013, the Park Board gave their budget numbers to the Town Board, then the Town budget was approved, and then after that the Park Board budget was put on a Town Board agenda at the first of the year. Member Freund feels the current process is working, and has been in effect for several years. 7. Park & Recreation Reports Cove Boat Ramp: a.
