Motion carried. ReviewandApproval of the2023Financial Report: JanetD’Ambrosioinquiredaboutthefundbalancedeficitindicated onthefinancial report. MotionM/SbyJimHermansen/DavidKarastestoapprovethe2023Financial Report. Inashow ofhands, 16votedyesandnonewereopposed. Motioncarried. Review and Approval of Building Inspector’s 2023 Annual Report: Motion M/S by David Karastes/Annette Noak to approve the 2023 Building Inspector’s Report. In a show of hands, 16 voted yes and none were opposed. Motion carried. Authorization to Borrow Funds: MotionM/S by JimKlemesrud/June Wendt toauthorize the Towntoborrowupto $50,000intheeventofanemergency. Inashowofhands, 16votedyesandnonewereopposed. Motioncarried. AuthorizationtoHire ElectedOfficials: MotionM/S by Joyce Klemesrud/Annette Noak tomaintainthe hourlyrateof pay of $25per hour for electedofficials or residents hiredas part-time employees. Inashowofhands, 13votedyesandthreeabstained. Motioncarried. ATV/UTVRoutes: AnnetteNoakaskedwhethermoreroadwayswouldbeopenedtoATVtraffic. RoadSignVisibility: Annette Noak askedwhether there was additional discussionregarding the replacement/update ofroadsigns. Someareverydifficulttoread. Road/TownMaintenance: TomHeintzaddressedthegroupregardingongoingroadmaintenanceandtentativeplansto reconstruct portions of 192ndAvenue and90thStreet. TheTownispurchasinganewerusedtractortoreplaceoneof the existing mowing units and will sell the older unit tooffset the cost. The Townis moving forwardwiththe Town Park plan, with the intention of constructing a storage building to house the tractors along with additional enhancements. Spring Clean-UpEvent: Scheduledfor Saturday, May 4from7:30a.m. to2:00p.m. Postcardswill bemailedandserve asresidents’ “ticket”--pleasebringitwithyou.
