CITY OF GILLETT PUBLIC WORKS AND UTILITY COMMITTEE Council Chambers – Municipal Building 150 N McKenzie Ave – Gillett, WI 54124 THURSDAY, OCTOBER 25, 2018 AT 5:00 PM AGENDA Committee may deviate from the agenda as needed Chairperson Drake called the meeting to order at 5:02 PM. Roll Call Present: Alderpersons Nanette Mohr, Matt Stroik, Marie Blaser, Irene Drake, Sandy Hubbard, Clerk Treasurer Kim Gruetzmacher, Mayor James Beaton, Public Works Foreman Shane Rank, Utility Operator Ron Anderson, and Members Ruth Spang and Louie Danielson. Open Meeting Law has been complied with. Public Input –None. AGENDA ITEMS: 1. Discussion and Possible action on minutes from September 6, 2018. MOTION: Spang/Danielson Motion to approve the minutes from September 6, 2018 Voice Vote: All Ayes MOTION CARRIED 2. Discussion and possible action on skid steer tires MOTION: Drake/Blaser Motion to approve $1,124 for tires to be split between public works and utility. Roll Call Vote: All Ayes MOTION CARRIED Purchase for skid steer tires to be split equally between public works and utility at $562 each. 3. Discussion and possible action on approval of pay requests and construction bills MOTION: Danielson/Spang Motion to approve $170,539.63 pay request for utility. Roll Call Vote: All Ayes MOTION CARRIED MOTION: Mohr/Drake Motion to approve $114,142.67 pay request for public works. Roll Call Vote: All Ayes MOTION CARRIED 4. Discussion and possible action on Lynch Bill – leave lay Questions still remain on the Lynch invoice. There will be a letter sent to Tim Lynch. 5. Set Next Meeting Date- TBD 6. Adjournment at 5:19pm.
