3/25/2019 7:16:28 PM CITY OF GILLETT COMMON COUNCIL NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING COUNCIL CHAMBERS 150 N McKenzie Ave., Gillett, WI MONDAY, MARCH 25, 2019 AT 5:45 PM MINUTES 1. Mayor calls meeting to order at 5:45 PM. 2. Clerk takes roll and informs Council Open Meeting Law has been complied with- Present: Mayor James Beaton, Alderpersons Irene Drake, Marie Blaser, Josh McCarthy, Nanette Mohr, Matt Stroik, Sandra Hubbard, and Deputy Clerk Treasurer Chelsea Anderson. 3. Public Input-None 4. Discussion and Possible Action on Lynch and Associates settlement-Original invoice was about $105,000, we asked them to explain the bill because the city thought it was over the amount of work they had done and they started a negotiation. There were no reports in the invoice to prove any work. We have resolved and settled at $85,000 through our attorneys. MOTION: Drake/Mohr Motion to accept the settlement price on the Lynch and Associates invoice for $85,000. Roll Call Vote: All Ayes - MOTION CARRIED 5. Adjourn at 5:55 pm.
