CITY OF GILLETT PLANNING COMMITTEE MEETING Council Chambers – Municipal Building 150 N McKenzie Ave – Gillett, WI 54124 MONDAY, FEBRUARY 25, 2019 AT 5:35 PM MINUTES Chairman McCarthy called the meeting to order at 5:35 pm. Roll Call Present: Alderperson Josh McCarthy, Sandy Hubbard, and Matthew Stroik. Also Present: Deputy Clerk Treasurer Chelsea Anderson, Mayor James Beaton, Alderperson Nanette Mohr, Irene Drake, Marie Blaser, and Public Works Foreman Shane Rank. Public Debbie Rudie. Public Input: Alderperson McCarthy asked for clarification on what goes to the committee for building permits. All new builds will go to committee to be approved, smaller projects such as reroofing does not typically go to committee to be approved. AGENDA ITEMS: 1. Discussion and Possible action on Minutes from October 23, 2018 MOTION: Stroik/Hubbard Motion to accept minutes from October 23, 2018 Voice Vote: All Ayes – MOTION CARRIED 2. Discussion and Possible action on housing standards-Some properties are still in violation of our housing standards ordinances but we have received notification on a timeline when they will be repaired. Have building inspector inspect the city in May, and annually. 3. Discussion and Possible action on 20 Year Comprehensive Plan – Get quotes on updating 20 Year Comprehensive Plan. It is due in 2024. 4. Set Next Meeting Date- March 18, 2019 after Parks and Cemetery. 5. Adjournment at 6:00 PM. MOTION: Stroik/Hubbard Motion to adjourn.
