MINUTES VILLAGE OF SURING PROPERTY & EQUIPMENT COMMITTEE MEETING & SURING PUBLIC LIBRARY BULDINGDS AND GROUND COMMITTEE TUESDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2024 IMEDIATELY FOLLOWING ZONING ADMINISTRATOR COMMITTEE MEETING 1. Meeting Called to Order by President Steffeck AT 9:11 AM. Roll Call: School, Schuettpelz, and Steffeck . Also present: Clerk-Treasurer Kim Gruetzmacher, Deputy Clerk-Treasurer Pat Sleeter, Public Works Director Jeff Tienor, and Library Director Jill Trochta . Bengtson was excused. 2. Agenda motion to approve agenda made by Schuettpelz and seconded by School. All ayes. Motion carried. Open Meeting Notice statement made by Clerk-Treasurer. 3. Public Input: None 4. Discussion and possible action on roof repair for Village Hall/Suring Public Library – Quotes were reviewed from Overhead Solutions and Allen Bontrager Construction. Both quotes included metal roof options and shingle options. Due to condition of back roof there will most likely be more cost as sheets of plywood are replaced that have water damage from leakage. Phone call to Allen Bontrager construction during meeting to ask additional questions on metal gauge, to include them to review stucco wall on side of library for leakage, snow blocks to be included in quote price (angle iron) and question on building deflector for AC units in rear of building. Motion to proceed with Allen Bontrager Construction to complete metal roof with standing seam with snow stops made by Schuettpelz and second by School. All ayes. Motion carried. 5.
