MINUTES VILLAGE OF SURING FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING MONDAY, OCTOBER 28, 2024 FOLLOWING PERSONNEL COMMITTEE MEETING 1. Meeting Called to Order by President Steffeck at 8:57 AM Roll Call: Bengtson, Kohlwey, Schuettpelz, and Steffeck. Also present: Trustees Nieling and Kramp, Clerk-Treasurer Kim Gruetzmacher, and Deputy Clerk-Treasurer Pat Sleeter. 2. Agenda motion to approve agenda made by Schuettpelz and second by Kohlwey. All ayes. Motion carried. Open Meeting Notice statement made by Clerk-Treasurer. 3. CLOSED SESSION: Motion to convene in closed session on the following matters: State Statute 19.85 - -PERSONNEL Motion to go into closed session with Village President, Village Trustees, Committee Members, Clerk-Treasurer and Deputy Clerk Treasurer made by Kohlwey and second by Schuettpelz. All ayes. Motion carried. Entered into closed session at 8:58 AM. 4. OPEN SESSION: Returned to open session at 11:31 AM 5. Discussion and possible action on 2025 Budget Proposal – Motion to approve the present draft of the 2025 budget and bring to the December Village Board meeting made by Schuettpelz and second by Kohl wey. All ayes. Motion carried. 6. ADJOURNMENT –Motion to adjourn made by Schuettpelz and second by Bengtson. All ayes. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 11:33 AM.
