Tax Increment Financing District #1 — Minutes

MINUTES VILLAGE OF SURING PLANNING COMMISSION Monday, August 26, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. LEARNING CENTER ROOM I 1. The meeting was called to order at 3:00 PM by the Village President, Les Steffeck. Members present: Kohlwey, Giese, L. Steffeck, and M. Steffeck. Also present: Kim Gruetzmacher, Clerk/Treasurer, Trustee Kramp, Trustee Schuettpelz, Ben Andrews from MSA, and Richard Heath from Oconto County. Members absent: Mahoney and Regal. 2. Nominate Chairman for committee for year – Motion to Nominate Les Steffeck as chairman for the year made by Kohlwey and second by Gruetzmacher. All ayes. Motion carried. 3. Review Proposed Project Plan and Boundary for TID No. 2 in the Village. Ben Andrews of MSA Professionals presented project plan for TID No. 2. Andrews reviewed TID basics with the commission, economic feasibility and eligible project costs as well as cash flow analysis. 4. Public Hearing on the Creation of Tax Incremental Finance District No. 2 No public input. 5. Consideration and/or possible action on Resolution No. 07-2024, the Creation of Tax Incremental Finance District No. 2 Motion to approve Resolution 07-2024 for the Creation of Tax Incremental Finance District No. 2 was made by Kohlwey and second by Giese. Roll Call Vote: Ayes: Kohlwey, Giese, L. Steffeck, and M. Steffeck Nays: None. Motion carried. 6. Motion to adjourn was made by Giese and second by M. Steffeck. All ayes. Motion carried.
