MINUTES JOINT REVIEW BOARD VILLAGE OF SURING TID#1 MONDAY, AUGUST 26, 2024 - 2:00 PM SURING MUNICIPAL BUILDING, LEARNING CENTER ROOM I 604 E. MAIN STREET, SURING, WI 54174 1. Meeting called to order by Village President Steffeck at 2:00 PM. Roll call: Leslie Steffeck, Village Board President (JRB) James Kohlwey, Village Board Trustee (alternate JRB) Kim Gruetzmacher, Clerk-Treasurer (JRB) Dr. Paul Orlich -Suring Public School (JRB) Al Sleeter – County Board Representative (JRB) Eric Derenne – NWTC Representative (JRB) Ben Andrews – MSA Professionals PUBLIC: Trustee Kramp, Trustee Schuettpelz, Richard Heath – Oconto County, Mike Steffeck. ABSENT : (JRB)Frank Rasberry, Citizen 2. Appoint Joint Review Board Chairperson and Citizen Member. Nomination was made by Kohlwey to appoint L. Steffeck as chairperson and Frank Rasberry as Citizen Member with second by Sleeter. All ayes. Motion carried. 3. Review TID No. 1 Financial Report – 2023 – Gruetzmacher gave the 2023 financial report and review of the Department of Revenue annual filing with the Joint Review Board. 4. Review of Draft TID No. 2 Project Plan – Ben Andrews of MSA Professionals presented project plan for TID No. 2. Andrews reviewed TID basics with the board, economic feasibility and eligible project costs as well as cash flow analysis. 5. Select Date for second Joint Review Board Meeting (TID No. 2) – Monday, September 16, 2024 at 2:00 PM. 6. Motion to adjourn was made by Sleeter and second by Orlich. All ayes. Motion carried.
