Approved- MEETING MINUTES Little Suamico Code of Ordinance Committee Meeting Little Suamico Town Hall, 5964-A County Road S, Sobieski, WI 54171 Tuesday July 15, 2025, 6:00 P.M. www.townoflittlesuamico.com Committee Members Present: John Link, Dave Daniels, Ed Galkowski, Ron Bertrand, Kory Rentmeester, Paula Leier-Engelhardt (alternate). Committee Members Absent: Branden Ness, John Kwiatkowski Others Present: Jim Oskey, Beth Trudell CALL MEETING TO ORDER - Pledge of Allegiance, then meeting was called to order at 6:00 pm by Chairman Link at the Town Hall. The Committee meeting agenda notice was properly posted APPROVAL OF AGENDA – Dave Daniels motioned to accept the agenda and Ed Galkowski second the motion. Passed unanimous vote. APPROVAL OF MINUTE(S) - Minutes of last meeting were tabled for approval for the next meeting and Dave Daniels motioned to table the minutes and Kory Rentmeester seconds the motion. Passed unanimous vote. CORRESPONDENCE – No comments have been received via e-mail from reviewers. There has been public comments on to Lisa about the possible removal of Chapter 10 from the Town Ordinances as it is the same as Oconto County Ordinances. Chapter 9 was also mentioned and Fire Chief Todd Zuge will be invited to the next meeting to go over Fire Prevention and Regulations. BUSINESS – 1. Town Complaints: • No new Town complaints as of this meeting • No Oconto County Sheriffs spreadsheet listed for this meeting. 2. Discussion of Ordinances by Committee Members: • Chapter 12 Mobile Home Regulation: Annual licenses and late fee amounts were discussed whether to raise or leave as is. The Town Clerk will be asked about how late fees and Application fees are collected, and are they up to date? It’s possible we could compute monthly fees according to property taxes for the total acreage of the mobile home park owner was discussed. These questions will be brought up to Lisa Glinski. 12.03 Mobile Home Regulations, John Link looked up State Statutes on quality of Manufacture of the mobile home, etc., which was a topic as to maintaining a level of aesthetics and or curb appeal. • Chapter 13 Zoning and Land use: The Town of Little Suamico does not have a zoning committee but does have a planning commission. Discussion on comparing Chapter 13 against Oconto County Zoning went on then Kory Rentmeester agreed to go through this chapter and check wording between the two and report back for the next meeting. • Chapter 14 Elections: There were questions on the use of the term “inspectors” in this chapter. John Link will look further into the wording and Ron Bertrand will ask his wife as she has been a Chief Inspector at the polling place. 3. Open discussion among Committee Members: • No further discussions at this time. 4. Set Next Meeting Date • Next Meeting set for August 19th Tuesday at 6:00pm Town Hall 5. Adjournment • At 7:00pm Kory Rentmeester motioned to adjourn, Ed Galkowski seconded. Motion carried, meeting adjourned.
