Approved Minutes Little Suamico Plan Commission Regular Meeting Little Suamico Town Hall, 5964 County Road S; Sobieski, WI 54171 THURSDAY, December 5, 2024 – 6:00p.m. Plan Commission Members Present: Kerie Karls, Amber Fox, Dale Mohr, Brian VandenHeuvel, Doug Allen, Elmer Ragen Plan Commission Members Absent: none Plan Commission Consultant Present: none The opening meeting statement was read, and the Little Suamico Plan Commission regular meeting was called to order at 6:00pm by Chair Mohr at the Town Hall. The agenda was properly posted to notice the meeting. CALL MEETING TO ORDER Public Comments: Mike Trudell, Frank Nowak APPROVAL OF AGENDA a. Change in Sequence – b. Removal of Items – Motion to approve the agenda was made by Doug Allen, seconded by Brian VandenHeuvel. Approved by unanimous vote. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING(S): October 3, 2024: Motion by Brian VandenHeuvel, seconded by Amber Fox. Approved by unanimous vote with one abstention: Kerie Karls. November 7, 2024: Motion by Elmer Ragen, seconded by Amber Fox. Approved by unanimous vote with two abstentions: Dale Mohr & Brian VandenHeuvel. CORRESPONDENCE: none BUSINESS 1. Draft Highway 41/141 Master Plan Ken Jaworski from Cedar Corp for ongoing discussion 2. Set date for Public Information Meeting on Highway 41/141 Master Plan January 23, 2025, at 5pm, with open house at 4pm Snow date set for January 30, 2025 3. Discuss Design Review Standards Ken Jaworski with more discussion 4. Please add Discussion and recommendation to town board for purchase of lands at end of Union Lane for use in cul-de-sac. Land is west of the road and should only be a few hundred feet in area. Recommendation is that the town board pursue acquiring the land to make a sizable area to equal 70 feet of turn around plus adequate shouldering as a right of way. This is a recommendation from the Plan Commission only. Discussion happened among the plan commission regarding waiting on developing a cul-de-sac. Motion to work with developing a cul-de-sac with the new landowners by Doug Allen, seconded by Brian VandenHeuvel. Approved by unanimous vote. 5. Announcements/General Information- none 6.
