Approved MEETING MINUTES Little Suamico Code of Ordinance Committee Meeting Little Suamico Town Hall, 5964-A County Road S, Sobieski, WI 54171 TUESDAY, DECEMBER 17, 2024 - 6:00 P.M. www.townoflittlesuamico.com Committee Members Present: John Link, Dave Daniels, John Kwiatkowski, Ed Galkowski, Ron Bertrand. Committee Members Absent: Tim Roskoms (alternate), Paula Leier-Engelhardt (alternate), Kory Rentmeester, Branden Ness Others Present: Elizabeth Paape, Beth Trudell CALL MEETING TO ORDER- Pledge of Allegiance, then meeting was called to order at 6:02 pm by Chairman Link at the Town Hall. The Committee meeting agenda notice was properly posted. APPROVAL OF AGENDA- Ed Galkowski motioned to accept the agenda and Dave Daniels seconds the motion. Unanimous vote. APPROVAL OF MINUTE(S) Minutes of last meeting were read, and Dave Daniels motioned to accept and John Kwiatkowski seconds the motion. Unanimous vote. BUSINESS: 1. Town Complaints: • There were some emailed complaints, and complaints about the Group Home which will be brought up at the next meeting. • A complaint filed about a loose pig (approximately 400lbs) wandering around, which the owner may be cited over. 2. After looking through Chapter 1, the committee had questions on whom enforces ordinances and hands out citations. A question on subchapter 1.05, what the penalties would be set at was also made. From here it was decided to shelve the discussions until next meeting. After going through Chapter 2 Local Government, it too was pushed to the next meeting. 3. Chapter 3 was opened, and an open discussion was made regarding adding, removing, or changing verbiage of subchapters. • Subchapter 3.07 Fireworks; was struck as it is covered in Chapter 9. • To help in our decision-making John Link will ask someone from Zoning, Sheriff Dept., and the County Supervisor to attend one of our meetings individually. • Talk of inserting County Ordinances and State Statutes in place of Town of Little Suamico Ordinances where needed was discussed also. • Note: Any Ordinance Changed, Deleted, or Added throughout the Committee process must have Town Board Approval in the end. 4. Chapter 4, 5 and 6 will be reviewed in the next meeting. 5. Set Next Meeting Date • A discussion will be made at the next meeting to possibly meet every two weeks to help speed up our results. • Next meeting is scheduled for January 21st, 2025, at 6:00pm. Little Suamico Town Hall 6. Adjournment • At 7:25pm Ed Galkowski motioned to adjourn, and Dave Daniels seconded. Motion carried, meeting adjourned.
