Approved MEETING MINUTES Little Suamico Code of Ordinance Committee Meeting Little Suamico Town Hall, 5964-A County Road S, Sobieski, WI 54171 TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 19, 2024 - 6:00 P.M. www.townoflittlesuamico.com Committee Members Present: John Link, Dave Daniels, John Kwiatkowski, Branden Ness, Kory Rentmeester, Ed Galkowski, Ron Bertrand, Paula Leier-Engelhardt (alternate) Committee Members Absent: Tim Roskoms (altenate) Others Present: Elizabeth Paape, Beth Trudell CALL MEETING TO ORDER- Pledge of Allegiance, then meeting was called to order at 6:02 pm by Chairman Link at the Town Hall. The Committee meeting agenda notice was properly posted APPROVAL OF AGENDA- Branden Ness motioned to accept the agenda and Dave Daniels seconds the motion. Unanimous vote. APPROVAL OF MINUTE(S) Minutes of last meeting were read and Kory Rentmeester motioned to accept and Ed Galkowski seconds the motion. Unanimous vote. BUSINESS: 1. Ron Bertrand volunteered to be Committee Secretary, Dave Daniels motioned to accept and Branden Ness seconds the motion. Unanimous vote. 2. Per diem discussion and decisions • Alternates to get Per Diem, their choice. Per Diem to be paid quarterly to all. Kory Rentmeester motioned to accept these items and John Kwiatkowski seconded. Motion carried. 3. Alternates participation was discussed. Alternates may participate but cannot vote unless filling in a position for an absent member. 4. Ordinance Consideration- • Snow plowing was discussed and any decision was dropped until all Ordinances are reviewed :so same as always for now. • Complaints- A Group Home has neighbors complaining of various activities. Liz will provide a list of complaints so Ordinances can be considered. 5. Tasks for Next Meeting • To go through Ordinances it was discussed and decided to pair up and take each chapter individually to be reviewed and presented at the next meeting. John Link and Kory Rentmeester stated they would go through Chapters 1 & 2 as they are pretty much standard. They will inform the committee at the next meeting. John Link and Branden Ness will cover Chapter 3, Dave Daniels and Ed Galkowski Chapter 4, John Kwiatkowski and Ron Bertrand Chapter 5. These Chapters will be reviewed, discussed and eliminated or changed as time permits for the next meeting. Any items/Ordinances not covered will be moved to the following meeting. 6. Open discussion among Committee Members • Dave Daniels brought up installing a possible Ordinance to stop or regulate a possible “Solar Farm” from building in the Township. Discussion included but not limited to County and Town Zoning. Also what was happening in the Town of Morgan. Nothing was finalized. 7. Set Next Meeting Date • Meetings were discussed and agreed to be held the 3rd Tuesday of every month. • Next meeting is scheduled for December 17, 2024 at 6:00pm. Little Suamico Town Hall 8. Adjournment • 7:04 Kory Rentmeester motioned to adjourn and Ed Galkowski seconded.
