PROCEEDINGS – June 15, 2022 TOWN OF CHASE SPECIAL BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING 1. Call to Order and Roll Call Town Board Chairman, Gary Van Lannen called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. in the Chase Town Hall, located at 8481 County Road S, Pulaski WI 54162. Notices were posted in the three town display boxes, which are located at the Town Recycling Center, North Chase Citgo, and South Chase Saloon. Board Members present: Chairman - Gary Van Lannen, Supervisor – Jeff Van Enkevort, Supervisor - Dennis Kroll, Clerk – Dan Kroll, Deputy Clerk – Cindy Kroll, and Treasurer Mae Micolichek 2. Recite the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag The Pledge was recited. 3. Approve the Agenda A. Change in Sequence – None. B. Removal of Items – None. Motion by Van Enkevort/Kroll to approve the agenda with no changes. The motion was called and carried 3-0. 4. Public Comment (No Action Taken) None 5. Convene to Closed Session pursuant to Wis. Statute 19.85(1)(c) – Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility – Tow Clerk Interviews. Motion by Van Enkevort/Kroll to go into closed session. Motion was called and carried by roll call vote, Kroll – Yes, Van Enkevort – Yes, Van Lannen – Yes. Van Lannen invited Dan Kroll, Cindy Kroll, Mae Micolichek, Sandy Schwartz, and Jeromy Delebreau into closed session. 6. Convene back into Open Session Motion by Van Enkevort/Kroll to go back into open session. Motion was called and carried by roll call vote, Kroll – Yes, Van Enkevort – Yes, Van Lannen – Yes. 7. Discuss and Act on Appointment of Town Clerk Van Lannen appointed Jeromy Delebreau as the new town clerk effective July 1, 2022 and will start on June 22, 2022 to shadow for a few days prior to Dan Kroll leaving. 8. Discuss and Act on Appointment of Planning Commission Secretary. Van Lannen appointed Jeromy Delebreau as the planning commission secretary. 9. Discuss and Act on Appointment of Town Deputy Clerk. Jeromy Delebreau appointed Cindy Kroll as his deputy clerk. 10. Announcements and General Information. None 11. Adjournment Van Lannen adjourned the meeting at 9:01 pm until July 11, 2022.
