1 MONDAY, MAY 4, 2026 AT 7:00PM – 9:00 PM, TOWN HALL, OFFICIAL MINUTES, TOWN OF NECEDAH, WISCONSIN, SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING-BOARD OF REVIEW CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL: Meeting was called to order at 7:00pm, by Chairman Scott Darnell. Those present were: Chairman Scott Darnell, Supervisor George Schumer, & Supervisor Ginny Hodal, Clerk Susan Kosinski, alternate Treasurer Cheri Barnharst, and Patrick Hart of Hart Appraisals Inc. It was published in Juneau County Star-Times & posted at 3 locations and on door. There was a quorum present. SELECT CHAIRMAN: Motion by Hodal to appoint Scott Darnell as chairman of Board of Review, seconded by Schumer. Roll call vote Darnell yes, Schumer yes, Hodal yes & Kosinski yes, carried aye-4. SELECT ALTERNATES: Motion by Kosinski to appoint Cheri Barnharst as alternate of Board of Review, seconded by Hodal. Roll call vote Darnell yes, Schumer yes, Hodal yes & Kosinski yes, carried aye-4. VERIFY TRAINING: The training affidavit has been completed online 4/18/2026 by Susan Kosinski. The training was completed by George Schumer, Scott Darnell, & Ginny Hodal, thru the WTA program on Feb 7, 2026. PER DIEM: The per diem remained the same at $50.00. ASSESSMENT ROLL RECEIVED AND REVIEWED: The Assessment Roll for 2026 was received from and signed by assessor Patrick Hart of Hart Appraisals Inc at 7:00pm. when called to order. The board reviewed the book and asked questions to Assessor of sales to actual and about the revaluation for 2027. TESTIMONY/DELIBERATION FOR 2026 BOARD OF REVIEW: None MOTION ASSESSOR VALUE OF ASSESSMENT ROLL: The assessment roll is estimated to be below 70% of market value again, no corrections & omissions, no appointments for open book, & 2 changes were made to roll. Motion by Schumer to accept the 2026 Assessment Roll with presumption of correctness by assessor, with total value of Land & Improvements for 2026 at $306,020,900, w/o manufacturing, for 3,316 real estate parcels, seconded by Hodal. Roll call vote Darnell yes, Schumer yes, Hodal yes & Kosinski yes, carried aye-4. ADJOURNMENT: Motion to adjourn by Schumer and seconded by Hodal.
