1 MONDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2025 AT 6:30 PM, TOWN HALL, OFFICIAL MINUTES, TOWN OF NECEDAH, WISCONSIN, TOWN BOARD MEETING FINANCIAL MATTERS REVIEW CHECKS FOR PAYMENT: CHECKS APPROVED FOR PAYMENT: Jan Checks # 17846 – 17853 & Feb Checks # 17854 – 17888 CALL TO ORDER/ PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm, by Chairman Scott Darnell, after check payment review. ROLL CALL: Those present were: Chairman Scott Darnell, Supervisors George Schumer & Ginny Hodal, Clerk Susan Kosinski, Treasurer Cheryl Barnharst, and Constable Jack Jasinski Sr. Road Supervisor Leo Schultz, was absent. Also present were 11 residents, and 0 non-resident. ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA: Motion by Schumer to accept agenda as presented, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. PUBLIC COMMENTS*: Annual meeting for the electors will be 3rd Tuesday April 15, 2025 at 7:00pm. A tax objection of high taxes his taxes increased 78% in last 5 years. He is on a fixed income and wants to see the taxes reduced. Question about land value and the school forest. Also increasing services without raising taxes. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Motion by Hodal to approve the January 13, 2025 Regular Town Board Meeting, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. APPROVAL OF THE TREASURER’S REPORT: Motion by Schumer to approve the Treasurer’s January 31, 2025 report as presented, seconded by Hodal and carried aye- 3. CHAIRMAN REPORT: Upcoming elections Spring Primary Feb 18, 2025 and Spring election April 1, 2025, which Town Board on ballot. ROAD SUPERVISOR REPORT: Right away cutting on 22nd St W & 25th St W, replaced 39 street signs with new ones, no trees down with the 56 mph winds and regular cleaning & maintenance. CONSTABLE REPORT: 6 incidents; removal of deer carcass, tires, checked on shooting complaint, checked open shed door & welfare check. RECONCILIATION OF JUNE – DECEMBER 2024 DEPOSITS & CHECKS: Reconciliation was OK. 2 EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK UPDATE: Motion by Hodal to approve the Employee Handbook as updated seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. NEXT MONTH MEETING DATE, 2ND MONDAY OF MONTH, MARCH 10, 2025 AT 6:30PM ADJOURNMENT: Motion by Schumer to adjourn at 7:07 pm, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3.
