1 MONDAY, JANUARY 13, 2025 AT 6:30 PM, TOWN HALL, OFFICIAL MINUTES, TOWN OF NECEDAH, WISCONSIN, TOWN BOARD MEETING FINANCIAL MATTERS REVIEW CHECKS FOR PAYMENT: CHECKS APPROVED FOR PAYMENT: Dec Checks # 17794 – 17804 & Jan Checks # 17805 – 17845 CALL TO ORDER/ PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm, by Chairman Scott Darnell, after check payment review. ROLL CALL: Those present were: Chairman Scott Darnell, Supervisors George Schumer & Ginny Hodal, Clerk Susan Kosinski, Treasurer Cheryl Barnharst, Road Supervisor Leo Schultz, and Constable Jack Jasinski Sr. Also present were 6 residents. ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA: Motion by Hodal to accept agenda as presented, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. PUBLIC COMMENTS* Congratulation on nice snowplowing on 19th St. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Motion by Schumer to approve the December 9, 2024 Regular Town Board Meeting, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. APPROVAL OF THE TREASURER’S REPORT: Motion by Hodal to approve the Treasurer’s December 31, 2024 report as presented, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. CHAIRMAN REPORT: Elections coming up February 18, 2025 Primary & April 1, 2025 Spring Election, the Town Board, Judges, State Public Instructor, & School Board, Town Supervisor race has third person running Marg Berger and incumbents George Schumer & Ginny Hodal. Johnnie Lee fire cleanup per the county Brian Lyold 3 to 4 piles to clean up by spring, then wait on bill for grant did not cover all . ROAD SUPERVISOR REPORT: Plowing & sanding, clearing beaver dams, got rid of huge pile of waste by shop, and ordered 39 street signs that were faded or damaged. Also cleaning & maintaining equipment. CONSTABLE REPORT: 5 incidents: coal train separated, broken down truck, cell tower lighting, & mailbox. APPROVE $500.00 TO JUNEAU COUNTY HIGHWAY FOR 50-50 PETITION: Motion by Schumer to approve $500.00 to Juneau County for 50/50 petition, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. 2 RESOLUTION 2025-1 ADOPTING THE 2024 JUNEAU COUNTY ALL HAZARDS MITIGATION PLAN UPDATE: Motion by Hodal to approve Resolution 2025-1 Adopting the 2024 Juneau County All Hazards Mitigation Plan Update, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. APPROVE 6 POLL WORKERS SPLIT SHIFT FOR FEB 18, 2025 SPRING PRIMARY: Motion by Hodal to approve 6 pollworkers split shift for February 18, 2025 Primary, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. NEXT MONTH MEETING DATE, 2ND MONDAY OF MONTH, FEBRUARY 10, 2025 AT 6:30PM ADJOURNMENT: Motion by Schumer to adjourn at 6:49 pm, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3.
