1 MONDAY, DECEMBER 10, 2018 AT 6:30 PM, TOWN HALL, OFFICIAL MINUTES, TOWN OF NECEDAH, WISCONSIN, TOWN BOARD MEETING FINANCIAL MATTERS REVIEW CHECKS FOR PAYMENT: CHECKS APPROVED FOR PAYMENT: Nov Checks # 14653 – 14655 & Dec Checks # 14656 – 14704 CALL TO ORDER/ PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Meeting was called to order at 6:37pm, by Chairman Terry Taft, after check payment review. ROLL CALL: Those present were: Chairman Terry Taft, Supervisors George Schumer & Ginny Hodal, Clerk Susan Kosinski, Treasurer Richard Baumgart, Road Supervisor Leo Schultz and Constable Jack Jasinski Sr. Also present were 8 residents and non- resident Charlene Norberg. ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA: Motion by Schumer to accept agenda as presented, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. PUBLIC COMMENTS*: Need more sand/salt on the roads. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Motion by Hodal to approve the November 15, 2018 Regular Town Board Meeting, November 15, 2018 Public Budget Hearing and November 15, 2018 Special Town Elector Meeting, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. APPROVAL OF THE TREASURER’S REPORT: Motion by Schumer to approve the Treasurer’s November 30, 2018 report as presented, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. ROAD SUPERVISOR REPORT: Working on road maintenance, brushing the right away, wood cutting to clear right away. Refuge roads closed. 25th St and 11th Ave closed due to water. CONSTABLE REPORT: The constable dealt with 5 incidents: Christmas lights damaged, deer parts dumped and property and welfare check. ADRC-AGING AND DISABILITY RESOURCE CENTER, CHARLENE NORBERG PRESENTATION: She spoke of the meals at the school, doing technology workshops for seniors, dementia outreach and a transit survey. APPROVE THE PURCHASE OF NEW 2019 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 3500HD: Motion by Hodal to purchase a new 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD 1 ton for $29336.00, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. 2 CAMP DOUGLAS AMBULANCE UPDATE: The cost per person was lowered from $28.00 to $23.00, but up from original $19.00 contract price, due to the cost of staffing. APPROVE BUDGET ADJUSTMENTS TO 2018 BUDGET: Tabled NEXT MONTH MEETING DATE, 2ND MONDAY OF MONTH, JANUARY 14, 2019 AT 6:30pm: ADJOURNMENT: Motion by Schumer to adjourn at 7:20 pm, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. Those present were: Chairman Terry Taft, Supervisors George Schumer & Ginny Hodal, Clerk Susan Kosinski, Treasurer Richard Baumgart, Road Supervisor Leo Schultz and Constable Jack Jasinski Sr. APPROVE 2018 BUDGET ADJUSTMENTS: Motion by Schumer, seconded by Hodal, to approve the 2018 Budget Adjustments to actual as presented, aye-3, carried. APPROVE 2019 BUDGET ADJUSTMENTS: Motion by Hodal, seconded by Schumer, to approve the 2019 Budget Adjustments of Capital Equipment Outlay of $14,582.00 from Capital Equipment Reserve and $400.00 increase to Fire Equipment Repair & Fuel from Ambulance & EMT Expense, aye-3, carried. ADJOURNMENT: Motion by Schumer, seconded by Hodal, to adjourn, aye-3, carried.
