1 MONDAY, MARCH 11, 2019 AT 6:30 PM, TOWN HALL, OFFICIAL MINUTES, TOWN OF NECEDAH, WISCONSIN, TOWN BOARD MEETING FINANCIAL MATTERS REVIEW CHECKS FOR PAYMENT: CHECKS APPROVED FOR PAYMENT: Feb Checks # 14827 - 14831 & Mar Checks # 14832– 14867 CALL TO ORDER/ PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Meeting was called to order at 6:40pm, by Chairman Terry Taft, after check payment review. ROLL CALL: Those present were: Chairman Terry Taft, Supervisors George Schumer & Ginny Hodal, Clerk Susan Kosinski, Treasurer Richard Baumgart, Road Supervisor Leo Schultz and Constable Jack Jasinski Sr. Also present were 6 residents and one non- resident Jake Star-Times Reporter. ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA: Motion by Hodal to accept agenda as presented, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. PUBLIC COMMENTS*: Thank you to Leo & Road crew great job of snow removal on the roads. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Motion by Schumer to approve the February 11, 2019 Regular Town Board Meeting, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. APPROVAL OF THE TREASURER’S REPORT: Motion by Hodal to approve the Treasurer’s February 28, 2019 report as presented, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. ROAD SUPERVISOR REPORT: Lots of snowplowing. Working on equipment repairs and maintenance. Beaver dams still problem. People should not be snowplowing across the road, per WI state statutes. CONSTABLE REPORT: The constable dealt with 8 incidents, and property checks. MR. EBERT ABOUT FIREWORKS PERMIT: Motion by Hodal to approve the Fireworks Use Permit on December 31, 2019 at 5:30pm – 7:30 pm at N11491 14th Ave, Necedah WI, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. APPROVE TO RETAIN PETERBILT OR TRADE-IN FOR PURCHASE OF A NEW TRUCK: tabled ROAD TOUR DATE SET: Thursday April 11, 2019 at 1:00 pm APPROVE RESOLUTION 2019-1 “RESOLUTION FILLING VACANY IN THE OFFICE OF MUNICIPAL COURT JUDGE”: Motion by Hodal to approve Resolution 2019-1 filling 2 the vacancy in the office of Municipal Court Judge with Mike Taake, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. APPROVE 6 POLL WORKERS FOR THE APRIL 2, 2019 SPRING ELECTION: Motion by Hodal to approve 6 poll workers for April 2, 2019 election, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. NEXT MONTH MEETING DATE, 2ND MONDAY OF MONTH, April 8, 2019 at 6:30pm: ANNUAL ELECTOR MEETING TUESDAY APRIL 16, 2019 AT 7:00 PM ADJOURNMENT: Motion by Schumer to adjourn at 7:39 pm, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3.
