1 MONDAY, JANUARY 14, 2019 AT 6:30 PM, TOWN HALL, OFFICIAL MINUTES, TOWN OF NECEDAH, WISCONSIN, TOWN BOARD MEETING FINANCIAL MATTERS REVIEW CHECKS FOR PAYMENT: CHECKS APPROVED FOR PAYMENT: Dec Checks # 14705 - 14713 & Jan Checks # 14714 – 14773 CALL TO ORDER/ PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Meeting was called to order at 6:40pm, by Chairman Terry Taft, after check payment review. ROLL CALL: Those present were: Chairman Terry Taft, Supervisors George Schumer & Ginny Hodal, Clerk Susan Kosinski, Treasurer Richard Baumgart, Road Supervisor Leo Schultz and Constable Jack Jasinski Sr. Also present were 2 residents and non- resident Jake Star-Times Reporter. ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA: Motion by Hodal to accept agenda as presented, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. PUBLIC COMMENTS*: What happen with the Ballies Development? It went through. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Motion by Schumer to approve the December 10, 2018 Regular Town Board Meeting, & December 19, 2018 Special Town Board Meeting, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. APPROVAL OF THE TREASURER’S REPORT: Motion by Hodal to approve the Treasurer’s December 31, 2018 report as presented, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. ROAD SUPERVISOR REPORT: Lots of maintenance on the trucks, brush mowing the right away, and big problems with beaver dams on Sprague-Mather Rd CONSTABLE REPORT: The constable dealt with 3 incidents, and property checks. APPROVE $500.00 TO JUNEAU COUNTY HIGHWAY FOR 50-50 PETITION: Motion by Schumer to approve $500.00 to Juneau County Highway for 50/50 petition, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. REPRESENTATIVE FOR CAMP DOUGLAS AMBULANCE BOARD: George Schumer will be representative, instead of Terry Taft. NEXT MONTH MEETING DATE, 2ND MONDAY OF MONTH, February 11, 2019 at 6:30pm: 2 MOTION & ROLL CALL VOTE TO GO INTO CLOSED SESSION PER WI STATUE 19.859(1)(C) CONSIDER EMPLOYEES COMPENSATION/WAGES/BENEFITS/ EVALUATION: Motion by Hodal to go into closed session at 6:64pm, seconded by Schumer and roll call vote Taft yes, Schumer yes and Hodal yes, aye-3. RECONVENE INTO OPEN SESSION: Reconvene back into open session at 8:17pm with Chairman Terry Taft, Supervisors George Schumer & Ginny Hodal, Clerk Susan Kosinski, Treasurer Richard Baumgart, Road Supervisor Leo Schultz and Constable Jack Jasinski Sr. MOTION, IF NECESSARY FROM THE MATTER DISCUSSED IN CLOSED SESSION: Motion from closed session by Hodal to a $2,500.00 one-time bonus in 2018 for Leo Schultz and increase the part-time employees wages by $1.50 to $16.50 an hour retro to January 1, 2019, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. FINANCIAL REVIEW OF CHECKS & DEPOSITS FOR APRIL – DECEMBER 2018:OK ADJOURNMENT: Motion by Schumer to adjourn at 8:20 pm, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3.
