1 MONDAY, JUNE 8, 2020 AT 6:30 PM, TOWN HALL, OFFICIAL MINUTES, TOWN OF NECEDAH, WISCONSIN, TOWN BOARD MEETING FINANCIAL MATTERS REVIEW CHECKS FOR PAYMENT: CHECKS APPROVED FOR PAYMENT: May Checks # 15496– 15498 & June Checks # 15499 – 15528 CALL TO ORDER/ PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Meeting was called to order at 6:36 pm, by Chairman Terry Taft, after check payment review. ROLL CALL: Those present were: Chairman Terry Taft, Supervisors George Schumer & Ginny Hodal, Clerk Susan Kosinski, Treasurer Richard Baumgart, and Constable Jack Jasinski Sr. Also present were 3 residents and 1 non-resident. ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA: Motion by Schumer to accept agenda as presented, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. PUBLIC COMMENTS*: Residents complained about seasonal neighbors with fireworks and gun shooting. They want an ordinance or berms required. Taft said he would look into it for July meeting. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Motion by Schumer to approve the May 11, 2020 Regular Town Board Meeting, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. APPROVAL OF THE TREASURER’S REPORT: Motion by Hodal to approve the Treasurer’s May 31, 2020 report as presented, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. ROAD SUPERVISOR REPORT: Work for this past month: ditching, beaver dam removal, gravel & breaker on 28th Street W for a 10” lift is complete, crack filling on 9th Ave complete, patching, & brushing in the Refuge. Work going on for next month: mowing starting June 15, hot mix wedging, & patching, all contracted road work will be completed by July 31. . CONSTABLE REPORT: The constable dealt with 5 incidents, golf cart & go cart issues mowing grass onto roadway, Hwy 80 issues & property check. The roads are in best shape in years. APPROVAL OF LIQUOR LICENSES FOR 2020-2021: BODI HOSPITALITY INC, D/B/A WOODBINE INN BRIAN P MILLER, D/B/A WILDERNESS INN EASTWICK CORP, D/B/A THE REEL RV CAMPGROUND RESORT ROADHOUSE PUB & GRUB LLC SANDIE M WOOD, D/B/A STAR ROUTE Motion by Hodal to approval the 5 above named Businesses for Liquor/Beer licenses seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. 2 APPROVAL OF PICNIC LICENSE FOR QUEEN OF HOLY ROSARY SUMMERFEST ON AUGUST 22, 2020: Hodal abstain due to being on the QHR board. Motion by Schumer to approval the picnic license for Summerfest on August 22, 2020 at Queen of Holy Rosary, seconded by Taft and carried aye-2. OPERATOR LICENSE FOR 2020-2022: REANNA KEMP - ROADHOUSE LORI JANOCIAK – WOODBINE INN BRYCE HOLLIS – WOODBINE INN DENNIS GERKE – REEL INN JENNIFER FOUNTAIN – REEL INN MARK GROUTHAUSEN – REEL INN ANNA NEITZEL – REEL INN Motion by Hodal to approval the 7 above named persons for operator licenses, except note if Reanna Kemp has an alcohol issue the license will be revoked, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. NEXT MONTH MEETING DATE, 2ND MONDAY OF MONTH, JULY 13, 2020 AT 6:30 PM: ADJOURNMENT: Motion by Schumer to adjourn, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3, at 7:15 pm.
