1 MONDAY, JULY 13, 2020 AT 6:30 PM, TOWN HALL, OFFICIAL MINUTES, TOWN OF NECEDAH, WISCONSIN, TOWN BOARD MEETING FINANCIAL MATTERS REVIEW CHECKS FOR PAYMENT: CHECKS APPROVED FOR PAYMENT: June Checks # 15529– 15536 & July Checks # 15537 – 15571 CALL TO ORDER/ PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Meeting was called to order at 6:32 pm, by Chairman Terry Taft, after check payment review. ROLL CALL: Those present were: Chairman Terry Taft, Supervisors George Schumer & Ginny Hodal, Clerk Susan Kosinski, Treasurer Richard Baumgart, and Constable Jack Jasinski Sr. Also present were 6 residents. ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA: Motion by Hodal to accept agenda as presented, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. PUBLIC COMMENTS*: Complaint about the cell towers for 5G as death towers. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Motion by Schumer to approve the June 8, 2020 Regular Town Board Meeting, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. APPROVAL OF THE TREASURER’S REPORT: Motion by Hodal to approve the Treasurer’s June 30, 2020 reports as presented, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. ROAD SUPERVISOR REPORT: The mowing, gravel on 28th St, crackfilling on 9th Ave, warranty sealcoating on 25th St W & 7th Ave, sealcoating on 22nd St, Headquarter Rd, 18th Ave TRIP & 23rd intersections are all completed. Working on patching, trees, beaver dams, ditching and the hot mix wedging for 28th St W, 9th Ave, & 20th St. . CONSTABLE REPORT: The constable dealt with 8 incidents, ATV warnings, trash/garbage issues & property check. UPDATE ON GUNFIRE & FIREWORKS: Taft talked to Juneau County Sherriff and Town Attorney, not much can be done. Who going to enforce this? REPORT ON 28TH STREET ISSUES: Property owner wants to get fields drained. ACCEPT THE SURRENDER OF REMAINDER (JULY 17, 2020 TO JUNE 30, 2021) OF THE 2020-2021 LIQUOR/BEER LICENSE FOR BRIAN MILLER DBA THE WILDERNESS INN: Motion by Hodal to accept the surrender of remainder of 2020-2021 liquor/beer license for Brian Miller dba The Wilderness Inn, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. 2 APPROVAL OF LIQUOR LICENSE FOR 2020-2021FOR THE REMAINDER (JULY 17, 2020 TO JUNE 30, 2021) FOR WILDERNESS INN LLC, AGENT JULIE LEAMONS: Motion by Hodal to approve 2020-2021 liquor/beer license till June 30 2021, for Wilderness Inn LLC, agent Julie Leamons, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. NEXT MONTH MEETING DATE, 2ND MONDAY OF MONTH, AUGUST 10, 2020 AT 6:30 PM: ADJOURNMENT: Motion by Schumer to adjourn, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3, at 7:19 pm.
