1 MONDAY, MAY 10, 2021 AT 6:30 PM, TOWN HALL, OFFICIAL MINUTES, TOWN OF NECEDAH, WISCONSIN, TOWN BOARD MEETING FINANCIAL MATTERS REVIEW CHECKS FOR PAYMENT: CHECKS APPROVED FOR PAYMENT: Apr Checks # 16001 - 16005 & May Checks # 16006– 16044 CALL TO ORDER/ PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Meeting was called to order at 6:37pm, by Chairman Terry Taft, after check payment review. ROLL CALL: Those present were: Chairman Terry Taft, Supervisors George Schumer & Ginny Hodal, Clerk Susan Kosinski, Treasurer Richard Baumgart, Road Supervisor Leo Schultz, and Constable Jack Jasinski Sr. Also present 4 residents, including Steve Bezemek from Scotts Construction. ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA: Motion by Schumer to accept agenda as presented, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. PUBLIC COMMENTS*: The addition to garage looks very nice. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Motion by Hodal to approve the April 12, 2021 Regular Town Board Meeting, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. APPROVAL OF THE TREASURER’S REPORT: Motion by Schumer to approve the Treasurer’s April 30, 2021 report as presented, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. ROAD SUPERVISOR REPORT: All of the gravel work will be done this week. The hot mix was done today on Marion Way. The addition to garage is done, electric to finish. We are ready for winter with salt/sand shed full, & plows ready. Working on patching roads. CONSTABLE REPORT: The constable dealt with ATV issues, street signs, stray dog, and property checks. OPENING OF 2021 SINGLE & DOUBLE SEAL COATING ROAD BIDS, & ACCEPTANCE: Two bids received Scotts Construction & Fahrner. Note Fahrner’s references were not received 4 days prior to opening bids as specifications. Motion by Schumer to accept Scotts Construction, the lowest bid for sealcoating at $112,816.85, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. The roads to be done this year are: 9th Ave, 28th St W, 19th St E, 23rd St E, Derus Rd, & Sprague Mather Rd. ROAD GRADER: No motion. 2 APPROVE OPERATOR LICENSE FOR PAUL O’LOUGHLIN @ ROADHOUSE: Motion by Hodal to approve operator license for Paul O’Loughlin @ Roadhouse, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. NEXT MONTH MEETING DATE, 2ND MONDAY OF MONTH, JUNE 14, 2021 AT 6:30 PM: OPEN BOOK WEDNESDAY MAY 12, 2021 2:00PM TO 4:00PM AND BOARD OF REVIEW TUESDAY JUNE 8, 2021 3:00PM TO 5:00 PM WITH MILDE APPRAISAL SERVICE LLC: ADJOURNMENT: Motion by Schumer to adjourn at 7:09 pm, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3.
