1 MONDAY, JULY 12, 2021 AT 6:30 PM, TOWN HALL, OFFICIAL MINUTES, TOWN OF NECEDAH, WISCONSIN, TOWN BOARD MEETING FINANCIAL MATTERS REVIEW CHECKS FOR PAYMENT: CHECKS APPROVED FOR PAYMENT: June Checks # 16093 - 16098 & July Checks # 16099– 16133 CALL TO ORDER/ PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Meeting was called to order at 6:38pm, by Chairman Terry Taft, after check payment review. ROLL CALL: Those present were: Chairman Terry Taft, Supervisor Ginny Hodal, Clerk Susan Kosinski, Treasurer Richard Baumgart, Road Supervisor Leo Schultz, and Constable Jack Jasinski Sr. Supervisor George Schumer was excused absent. Also present 5 residents and one non-resident employee Pat Loveless. ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA: Motion by Hodal to accept agenda as presented, seconded by Taft and carried aye-2. PUBLIC COMMENTS*: The new 2012 tractor with new bat wing mower did nice job of mowing, looks nice. Lots of shooting complaints would like to see an ordinance. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Motion by Hodal to approve the June 14, 2021 Regular Town Board Meeting, seconded by Taft and carried aye-2. APPROVAL OF THE TREASURER’S REPORT: Motion by Hodal to approve the Treasurer’s June 30, 2021, seconded by Taft and carried aye-2. ROAD SUPERVISOR REPORT: Thanks to Denis Nowicki for the help on7th Ave, north of 21, he open up the road and looks nice. Done ditching on Speedway, & patching. Mowing was done in 8 days with new tractor & mower this is a huge saving, usually a month with two tractors. The Refuge ditching really looks good. Drainage ditch mowing in 32 hours. Maintenance all done and my employees are the best CONSTABLE REPORT: The constable dealt with ATV and garbage issues, and property checks. PURPLE HEART HWY 21 & RESOLUTION 2021-1 DECLARING TOWN OF NECEDAH A PURPLE HEART TOWN AND DESIGNATING PURPLE HEART DAY: Jim Starr did a presentation with handout about this. Motion by Hodal to accept Resolution 2021-1 Declaring Town of Necedah a Purple Heart Town and Designating Purple Heart Day, seconded by Taft and carried aye-2. DANISH CEMETERY FLAG POLE AND TREE CUTTING: Our guys will cut down dead trees before the Sept 10, 2021, cleaning of headstones and moving flag to front of cemetery by Jim Starr and helpers. 2 STATE RETIREMENT PLAN: Keep working on State retirement paperwork, Jan 1, 2022 start date and then stop putting 3% into WI Deferred, next month sign resolution.
