1 MONDAY, DECEMBER 13, 2021 AT 6:30 PM, TOWN HALL, OFFICIAL MINUTES, TOWN OF NECEDAH, WISCONSIN, TOWN BOARD MEETING FINANCIAL MATTERS REVIEW CHECKS FOR PAYMENT: CHECKS APPROVED FOR PAYMENT: Nov Checks # 16278 - 16282 & Dec Checks # 16283 – 16316 CALL TO ORDER/ PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Meeting was called to order at 6:30pm, by Chairman Terry Taft, after check payment review. ROLL CALL: Those present were: Chairman Terry Taft, Supervisors George Schumer & Ginny Hodal, Clerk Susan Kosinski, Treasurer Richard Baumgart, Road Supervisor Leo Schultz, and Constable Jack Jasinski Sr. No one else was present. ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA: Motion by Schumer accept agenda as presented, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. PUBLIC COMMENTS*: None APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Motion by Hodal to approve the November 8, 2021, Regular Town Board Meeting, November 8, 2021 Public Budget Hearing and November 8, 2021 Special Town Meeting of Electors, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. APPROVAL OF THE TREASURER’S REPORT: Motion by Schumer to approve the Treasurer’s November 30, 2021 report as presented, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. ROAD SUPERVISOR REPORT: Cutting of trees, dealing with beaver dams and getting them trapped. Sealcoating costs to go up 38% in spring. Working on right away clearing on 14th St, Sprague-Mather Rd and 12th Ave (Dump Rd). CONSTABLE REPORT: Checking out poaching of deer, and leaving carcass, also removed tree limbs from roadway. PURCHASE OF A ROAD GROOM TO MAINTAIN THE GRAVEL ROADS: The Town has 21 ½ miles of gravel roads to maintain and the road groomer will do a better and faster job than our current maintainer. Motion by Hodal to approve buying a new 2022 11ft Road Groom with carbide teeth for $19,996.00 to purchasing spring of 2022, and check into option of selling current maintainer, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. APPROVAL OF NECEDAH FIRE & RESCUE 2022 CONTRACT: Motion by Hodal to accept the 2022 Fire & Rescue contract of $58,634.82, with the change to the contract in Section 8 from timely manner to quarterly, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. 2 APPROVE 2021 BUDGET ADJUSTMENTS TO ACTUAL COSTS: Motion by Schumer to approve the 2021 budget adjustment to actual costs as presented, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. APPROVE 2022-2023 ELECTION POLL WORKERS LIST: Motion by Hodal to approve the 2022-2023 election poll worker list as presented, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. NEXT MONTH MEETING DATE, 2ND MONDAY OF MONTH, JANUARY 10, 2022 AT 6:30pm: ADJOURNMENT: Motion by Schumer to adjourn at 7:36 pm, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3.
