1 MONDAY, AUGUST 9, 2021 AT 6:30 PM, TOWN HALL, OFFICIAL MINUTES, TOWN OF NECEDAH, WISCONSIN, TOWN BOARD MEETING FINANCIAL MATTERS REVIEW CHECKS FOR PAYMENT: CHECKS APPROVED FOR PAYMENT: July Checks # 16134 - 16138 & Aug Checks # 16139 – 16165 CALL TO ORDER/ PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Meeting was called to order at 6:35pm, by Chairman Terry Taft, after check payment review. ROLL CALL: Those present were: Chairman Terry Taft, Supervisors George Schumer & Ginny Hodal, Clerk Susan Kosinski, and Treasurer Richard Baumgart. Road Supervisor Leo Schultz and Constable Jack Jasinski Sr were absent. Also present 4 residents and one non-resident employee Pat Loveless. ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA: Motion by Hodal to accept agenda as presented, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. PUBLIC COMMENTS*: Letter received from the Belsky’s about the out of control fireworks, tannerite and assault rifles going off and into the night. There was discussion of shooting ordinance and that Terry would talk to sheriff and attorney. Discussion of the speeding and want speed limit signs on 17th Ave for the speeding is like a racetrack. Lots of ATV accidents. Mowing on 23rd Ave moved spotted nap weed and destroyed Trumps signs. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Motion by Hodal to approve the June 14, 2021 Regular Town Board Meeting, seconded by Taft and carried aye-3. APPROVAL OF THE TREASURER’S REPORT: Motion by Hodal to approve the Treasurer’s June 30, 2021, seconded by Taft and carried aye-3. ROAD SUPERVISOR REPORT: He has been grading, patching and mowing. The ditching in the Refuge is completed for the year, as is the sealcoating. All road work done for the year. CONSTABLE REPORT: No report. APPROVE “RESOLUTION 2021-2 RESOLUTION OF INCLUSION UNDER THE WISCONSIN RETIREMENT SYSTEM’, TO JOIN THE STATE RETIREMENT PROGRAM: Motion by Schumer to approve Resolution 2021-2 Inclusion under the Wisconsin Retirement System, to join the State retirement program, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. 2 APPROVE OPERATOR LICENSE FOR KIM ENGLAND AT ROADHOUSE FOR 2021- 2023: Motion by Hodal to approve operator license for Kim England at Roadhouse for 2021-2023, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. SET BUDGET WORKSHOP FOR IN SEPTEMBER: Budget meeting Wednesday September 15, 2021 at 4:00 pm. RECONCILIATION OF CHECKS AND DEPOSITS JANUARY – JULY 2021: Checks January – July 2021 were ok, and Deposits January – April 2021 were ok, will finish deposits May – July 2021 at August meeting. NEXT MONTH MEETING DATE, 2ND MONDAY OF MONTH, SEPTEMBER 13, 2021 AT 6:30 PM: ADJOURNMENT: Motion by Schumer to adjourn at 7:05 pm, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3.
