1 MONDAY, MARCH 14, 2022 AT 6:30 PM, TOWN HALL, OFFICIAL MINUTES, TOWN OF NECEDAH, WISCONSIN, TOWN BOARD MEETING FINANCIAL MATTERS REVIEW CHECKS FOR PAYMENT: CHECKS APPROVED FOR PAYMENT: Feb Checks # 16414 – 16416 & Mar Checks # 16417– 16448 CALL TO ORDER/ PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Meeting was called to order at 6:35 pm, by Chairman Terry Taft, after check payment review. ROLL CALL: Those present were: Chairman Terry Taft, Supervisors George Schumer & Ginny Hodal, Clerk Susan Kosinski, Treasurer Richard Baumgart, Leo Schultz Road Supervisor and Constable Jack Jasinski Sr. Absent was. Also present were 14 residents, and 6 non-residents. ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA: Motion by Schumer to accept agenda as presented, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. NECEDAH SCHOOL REFERENDUM INFORMATIONAL SUMMARY: Presentation by Tanya Kotlowski, Administrator about the two referendums operational and capital improvements and she answer questions. PUBLIC COMMENTS*: None APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Motion by Hodal to approve the February 14, 2022 Regular Town Board Meeting as presented, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. APPROVAL OF THE TREASURER’S REPORT: Motion by Schumer to approve the Treasurer’s February 28, 2022 report as presented, seconded by Hodal and carried aye- 3. ROAD SUPERVISOR REPORT: Worked on cleaning right away on 14th St, West Bay, 27th Ave, 23rd Ave, 19th St & 18th St., cutting trees and brush. Cleaning ditches so water flows better. Weight limit signs posted today. He explained that we need to increase money for roads so can do more miles. 28th St will be a TRIP Project. Gravel 11th Ave, reconstruct Geller and 10th Ave. CONSTABLE REPORT: 6 incidents, barking dogs, boulders on roads and checking properties. ARPA FUNDS: Discuss of what to do with ARPA money, more roads, concrete floor with drain in garage and painting garage, also get new LED lights for town hall and fix double steel door in town hall, and getting attorney to do the work, no motions. 2 SET DATE FOR ROAD BID OPENING AND SELECT ROADS TO BE DONE: Road bid opening May 9, 2022 for the 28th Ave TRIP project, looking at West Bay, Murmuring Pines,14th St, & 22nd , also wedging, & crack filling. The price is expected 27% higher. APPROVE 8 POLL WORKERS FOR APRIL 5, 2022 SPRING ELECTION: Motion by Hodal to approve 8 poll workers for April 5, 2022 Spring election, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. NEXT MONTH MEETING DATE, 2ND MONDAY OF MONTH, APRIL 11, 2022 AT 6:30 PM TOWN ELECTOR ANNUAL MEETING TUESDAY APRIL 19, 2022 AT 7:00PM: ADJOURNMENT: Motion by Schumer to adjourn at 8:10 pm, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3.
