1 MONDAY, JUNE 13, 2022 AT 6:30 PM, TOWN HALL, OFFICIAL MINUTES, TOWN OF NECEDAH, WISCONSIN, TOWN BOARD MEETING FINANCIAL MATTERS REVIEW CHECKS FOR PAYMENT: CHECKS APPROVED FOR PAYMENT: May Checks # 16541 – 16550 & Jun Checks # 16551– 16590 CALL TO ORDER/ PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Meeting was called to order at 6:35 pm, by Chairman Terry Taft, after check payment review. ROLL CALL: Those present were: Chairman Terry Taft, Supervisors George Schumer & Ginny Hodal (Ginny was by phone), Clerk Susan Kosinski, Treasurer Richard Baumgart, and Constable Jack Jasinski Sr. Leo Schultz Road Supervisor was not present, but left a report. Also present were 5 residents, and 1 non-resident James Newlun Camp Douglas Rescue Inc. ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA: Motion by Schumer to accept agenda as presented with the addition of May 9, 2022 Meeting to Adjourn Board of Review to a Later Date to approve in Minutes, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. PUBLIC COMMENTS*: Old 2002 Ford pickup should be salvage. The Town money is in a money market account. Minutes last emailed Feb 2022. @5th St boulders by road edge. Jim Starr spoke of Purple Highway 21 dedication August 6 & 7, 2022 at Vet’s Hall. Refuge issues to be resolve with 2 culverts. Danish Cemetery nice job. James spoke of ambulance service 3472 calls the medic system working nice, they will be getting ARPA funds from county. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Motion by Schumer to approve the minutes of the April 11, 2022 Regular Town Board Meeting, May 9, 2022 Regular Town Board Meeting & May 9, 2022 Meeting to Adjourn Board of Review to a Later Date, (April 25, 2022 Special Town Board Meeting cancelled so no minutes), seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. APPROVAL OF THE TREASURER’S REPORT: Motion by Schumer to approve the Treasurer’s May 31, 2022 report as presented, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. ROAD SUPERVISOR REPORT: Report of Danish Cemetery complete, Padre Pio gravel complete, shop concrete & remodel completed, still doing patching and dealing with beaver dams. Leo highly felt should do more crackfilling before price increase. CONSTABLE REPORT: 2 incidents, tree down, ATV issues, citation for garbage on 23rd St, and checking properties. DISPOSAL OF 2002 FORD F250 PICKUP: No motion discussed earlier in public comments. 2 ADDITIONAL CRACK FILLING FROM ARPA FUNDS IN 2022: Motion by Hodal to get bids for an additional $50,000.00 worth of crackfilling/dipfilling using the ARPA funds, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. APPROVAL OF LIQUOR LICENSES FOR 2022-2023: BODI HOSPITALITY INC., D/B/A WOODBINE INN LOUIS LEAMONS LLC, D/B/A THE WILDERNESS INN EASTWICK CORP, D/B/A THE REEL INN RV RESORT ROADHOUSE PUB & GRUB LLC, D/B/A ROADHOUSE SANDIE M WOOD, D/B/A STAR ROUTE Motion by Hodal to approve the above named 5 Liquor Licenses locations for the 2022- 2023 period, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. APPROVAL OF PICNIC LICENSE FOR QUEEN OF HOLY ROSARY SUMMERFEST ON AUGUST 27, 2022: Ginny Hodal abstains due to conflict. Motion by Schumer to approve the 2022 Queen of Holy Rosary Summerfest picnic license for August 27, 2022, seconded by Taft and carried aye-2. OPERATOR LICENSE FOR 2022-2023: TRAVIS LEAMONS-AGENT-THE WILDERNESS INN PAMELA LOUIS-THE WILDERNESS INN JULIE LEAMONS-THE WILDERNESS INN LORAL JANOCIAK-WOODBINE INN DAVID VAN DYKE-AGENT-ROADHOUSE HEATHER RABER-ROADHOUSE MICHELLE BAUMEL-AGENT-THE REEL INN RV RESORT SHARYN KILMER-AGENT-STAR ROUTE: Motion by Hodal to approve the above named 9 operator licenses for the 2022-2024 period, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. NEXT MONTH MEETING DATE, 2ND MONDAY OF MONTH, JULY 11, 2022 AT 6:30 PM BOARD OF REVIEW WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 7, 2022 3:00PM TO 5:00PM WITH MILDE APPRAISAL SERVICE LLC: ADJOURNMENT: Motion by Schumer to adjourn at 7:35 pm, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3.
