1 MONDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2022 AT 6:30 PM, TOWN HALL, OFFICIAL MINUTES, TOWN OF NECEDAH, WISCONSIN, TOWN BOARD MEETING FINANCIAL MATTERS REVIEW CHECKS FOR PAYMENT: CHECKS APPROVED FOR PAYMENT: Jan Checks # 16363 – 16373 & Feb Checks # 16374 – 16413 CALL TO ORDER/ PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Meeting was called to order at 6:40 pm, by Chairman Terry Taft, after check payment review. ROLL CALL: Those present were: Chairman Terry Taft, Supervisors George Schumer & Ginny Hodal, Clerk Susan Kosinski, Treasurer Richard Baumgart, and Constable Jack Jasinski Sr. Absent was Leo Schultz Road Supervisor. Also present were 4 residents, and 3 non-residents: Gina Laack Juneau County Aging & Disability, James Newlun & assistant from Camp Douglas Fire & Rescue. ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA: Motion by Schumer to accept agenda as presented, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. PUBLIC COMMENTS*: Gina Laack from Juneau County Aging & Disability ADRC, spoke of the many services they can do for aging & disabled: transportation, meals, support, understanding Medicare, Social Security & retirement programs. 23rd Ave by Parkers very bad ruts in road, looking at repair for the 23rd bridge. QUESTIONS ON AMBULANCE SERVICE: Due to HIPA no specifics, but going to Paramedics and looking to add more staff so can have 2 rigs in Necedah, right now 1 rig 2 people. CAMP DOUGLAS FIRE & RESCUE EMS UPDATE: Tomorrow will be Paramedic and all the mutual aid agreements signed. We will be doing more training with new help for some have been instructors. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Motion by Schumer to approve the January 10, 2022 Regular Town Board Meeting as presented, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. APPROVAL OF THE TREASURER’S REPORT: Motion by Hodal to approve the Treasurer’s January 31, 2022 report as presented, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. ROAD SUPERVISOR REPORT: Report of Plow snow, salt & sand roads, Maintenance on equipment, beaver dams & cutting trees. CONSTABLE REPORT: Report cows in road & complaint of night gunfire and welfare check. 2 APPROVE $500.00 TO JUNEAU COUNTY HIGHWAY FOR 50-50 PETITION: Motion by Hodal to approve $500.00 to Juneau County Public Works for the 50-50 highway petition, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. NEXT MONTH MEETING DATE, 2ND MONDAY OF MONTH, MARCH 14, 2022: ADJOURNMENT: Motion by Schumer to adjourn at 8:00 pm, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3.
