MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 11, 2023 AT 6:30 PM, TOWN HALL, OFFICIAL MINUTES, TOWN OF NECEDAH, WISCONSIN, TOWN BOARD MEETING FINANCIAL MATTERS REVIEW CHECKS FOR PAYMENT: CHECKS APPROVED FOR PAYMENT: Aug Checks # 17183 - 17187 Sep Checks # 17188 - 17212 CALL TO ORDER/ PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm, by Chairman Scott Darnell, after check payment review. ROLL CALL: Those present were: Chairman Scott Darnell, Supervisors George Schumer & Ginny Hodal, Clerk Susan Kosinski, Treasurer Cheri Barnharst, and Constable Jack Jasinski Sr. Road Supervisor Leo Schultz was absent , instead road worker Brian Schauer non-resident present. Also present were 4 residents. ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA: Motion by Schumer to accept agenda as presented, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. PUBLIC COMMENTS*: Thank you for brushing & clearing right away. With the RR crossing on Hwy 21 being closed, 19th Ave should be watched to slow down traffic for it will be busy as the go around on Buckhorn Bridge. Also 9th Ave from 12th Ave to Cty G another go around. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Motion by Hodal to approve the August 15, 2023 Regular Town Board Meeting, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. APPROVAL OF THE TREASURER’S REPORT: Motion by Schumer to approve the Treasurer’s August 31, 2023 report as presented, seconded by Hodal and carried aye- 3. ROAD SUPERVISOR REPORT: Patching, preventative maintenance, grading, fire numbers & mowing. CONSTABLE REPORT: Seven incidents: stolen street sign, garbage, trespassing, & assistance at locked house. ROAD REVIEW FOR 2024 PROJECTS: Talk to Leo about doing a road tour. BADGER BOOK FOR ELECTIONS: Motion by Hodal to purchase 3 Badger Books (electronic poll book) for the elections for $6484.95, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. LOVE YOUR BLOCK GRANT: We received a grant from the County for $7,400.00 to do a spring cleanup in 2024. TAX BILL MAILING INSERT: Motion by Schumer to approve a tax bill insert, 2-sided, color & 1/3 size of paper, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. DATE FOR BUDGET WORKSHOP: Monday October 2, 2023 at 5:00pm. NEXT MONTH MEETING DATE, 2ND MONDAY OF MONTH, October 9, 2023, 2023 AT 6:30 PM ADJOURNMENT: Motion by Schumer to adjourn at 7:21 pm, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. Attest: ____________________________________, Clerk Attest: ____________________________________, Chairman MONDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2023 AT 5:00 PM, TOWN HALL, OFFICIAL MINUTES, TOWN OF NECEDAH, WISCONSIN, TOWN SPECIAL BOARD MEETING-BUDGET WORKSHOP CALL TO ORDER/ ROLL CALL: Meeting was called to order at 5:11 pm, by Chairman Scott Darnell, and those present were: Chairman Scott Darnell, Supervisors George Schumer & Ginny Hodal, Clerk Susan Kosinski, Road Supervisor Leo Schultz, and road worker Brian Schauer. Treasurer Cheri Barnharst was absent. No one else was present. BUDGET WORKSHOP 2024 BUDGET: worked up a proposed budget for 2024.
