1 MONDAY, MARCH 13, 2023 AT 6:30 PM, TOWN HALL, OFFICIAL MINUTES, TOWN OF NECEDAH, WISCONSIN, TOWN BOARD MEETING FINANCIAL MATTERS REVIEW CHECKS FOR PAYMENT: CHECKS APPROVED FOR PAYMENT: Feb Checks # 16958 - 16960 Mar Checks # 16961 - 16995 CALL TO ORDER/ PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Meeting was called to order at 6:32 pm, by Chairman Terry Taft, after check payment review. ROLL CALL: Those present were: Chairman Terry Taft, Supervisors George Schumer & Ginny Hodal, Clerk Susan Kosinski, Treasurer Cheri Barnharst, Road Supervisor Leo Schultz and Constable Jack Jasinski Sr. Also present were 12 residents. ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA: Motion by Hodal to accept agenda as presented, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. PUBLIC COMMENTS*: School referendum discussion. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Motion by Schumer to approve the February 13, 2023 Regular Town Board Meeting, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. APPROVAL OF THE TREASURER’S REPORT: Motion by Hodal to approve the Treasurer’s February 28, 2023 report as presented, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. ROAD SUPERVISOR REPORT: Had Juneau County cut trees and do brushing on 12th Ave. We did tree cutting on 22nd St W & St. Mary’s Way, culvert ordered for 7th Ave to do with the County as a share cost. The weight limit signs are on the roads. Western star need repairs. CONSTABLE REPORT: Checked roads for snow being pushed across. AMBULANCE SERVICE UPDATE: Costs are increasing currently for 1st & 2nd qtr are $36.00 per capita and for 3rd & 4tth qtr the proposed cost of $62.00 per capita to cover the increasing costs, nothing decided yet. APPROVE 10 POLL WORKERS SPLIT SHIFT FOR APRIL 4, 2023: Motion by Hodal to approve 10 poll workers split shift for April 4, 2023 election, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. 2 APPROVE OPERATORS LICENSES FOR: AMANDA MILLARD AT ROADHOUSE, MYA BERNARD, MARIAH MCKAY, & RYAN SAUNDERS AT BIG FRANKS INC: Motion by Hodal to approve Amanda Millard at Roadhouse, Mya Bernard, Mariah McKay, & Ryan Saunders at Big Franks Inc for operator licenses for the 2022-2024 season, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. APPROVE TEMPORARY CLASS “B” RETAILER LICENSE FOR JUNE 10, 2023 TO FRIENDS OF NECEDAH NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE FOR BIRDS, BEES AND BUTTERFLIES EVENT: Motion by Schumer to approve the temporary class “B” picnic license for June 10, 2023 at Refuge for Birds, Bee & Butterflies event, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. SET BID OPENING DATE FOR SELECTED ROADS: Monday April 10, 2023 @ 6:30 pm and roads listed: Leisure Ln, 11th Ave, 18th Ave, 16th Ave, 25th St W, 23rd St W, Siegler Ct, Aroma Ln, T-Ln, 17th St, 10th Ave,18th St, & Rural Estates. Attest: ____________________________________, Clerk Attest: ____________________________________, Chairman 3 THURSDAY, MARCH 30, 2023 AT 4:00 PM, TOWN HALL, OFFICIAL MINUTES, TOWN OF NECEDAH, WISCONSIN, TOWN SPECIAL BOARD MEETING CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL: Meeting called to order at 4:00pm by Chairman Terry Taft. Those present were: Chairman Terry Taft, Supervisors George Schumer & Ginny Hodal, Clerk Susan Kosinski, Treasurer Cheri Barnharst, and Road Supervisor Leo Schultz. Also present were 4 residents and 2 non-residents Don Bollig & Bret Davies. REVIEW DONALD BOLLIG SUBDIVISION OF PARCELS 290280128, 290280129, 290280167, 290280168.3 & 290280131.01 AND A ROAD: Bollig wants 4 large parcels with the ditch as a boundary and two off 17th St and two off 18th St. Motion by Hodal to approve the new 4 parcels with each a 40 ft private access as proposed by Donald Bollig, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3.
