McCoy Public Library Board of Trustees — Minutes

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN OF A MEETING OF THE MCCOY PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES ON April 8th, 2026 5:15 P.M. IN THE McCOY PUBLIC LIBRARY WITHIN THE McCOY PUBLIC LIBRARY. THE MEETING IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. MEETING MINUTES Call to order: 5:15 PM Board Roll Call: Marsha Einsweiler, Suzy Turpin, Kim Langenfeld, Nichole Hocking, Kari Einsweiler Not Present: Danny Morrissey, Cassie Cernek Also in attendance: Jen Detra, Library Director Public Comment: None Secretary’s Report: Motion by Suzy to approve the March 11th meeting minutes. 2nd by Marsha. Motion passed. Review & Sign Invoices: Reviewed and signed invoices. Financial Statements: The only item not reflected on the financial statement is we have over $6,000 waiting to be deposited. These funds could be deposited in Conservation First Bank. This transaction would keep our account from going dormant. Director Report: Reviewed. Danica completed the stats, and they appear to be average. County funding is giving us nearly $86,000. Shullsburg City residents are exempt from paying county taxes. The website has been approved and onboarding begins next week. Next Meeting Date: Monday, May 11th, 2026. 5:15 pm at the Shullsburg McCoy Public Library. Adjournment: Motion by Marsha to adjourn. 2nd by Kari. Motion passed. Adjournment at 5:39 pm. All agenda items have the ability to become actionable items.
