Museum Content Restoration & Storage – The Council reviewed a spreadsheet provided by CRDN with museum items that had been sent to an art conservator for further review. CRDN was requesting input from the Council regarding moving forward with further restoration of the items. Motion by Wedige second by Reilly to approve accepting the remaining museum contents that have been cleaned, but to not require further restoration, and request total loss funds for those items as well as request the items be returned. CRDN provided an estimate of $4,614 per month to store the contents in their facility through November 30, 2026. Morrissey suggests using the city garage since the new cold storage building will be completed and some equipment will be moved from the city garage to the cold storage; this will free up space at the garage for some contents.
