NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS FOR PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS IN CITY OF SHULLSBURG, WISCONSIN. APRIL 21, 2026 6:30 P.M. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the governing body of the City of Shullsburg, Wisconsin has declared its intention to exercise its police power in accordance with §66.0703, Stats., to levy special assessments upon property within the following described assessment district for benefits conferred upon the property by the improvement of the following streets: Replacement of 4’ Concrete Sidewalk along all property abutting the East Side of South Judgement Street beginning with Parcel 281.0337.0000 at the intersection of East Church Street and ending at the Southern -most property line of Parcel 281.0347.0000 at the intersection of East Cyclops Street. A report showing final plans and specifications, estimated cost of improvements and proposed assessments is on file in the municipal clerk’s office and may be inspected there Tuesday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The City Council will hear all interested persons, or their agents or attorneys, concerning matters contained in the preliminary resolution authorizing the assessments and in the above-described report at 6:30 p.m. on April 21, 2026 in the Community Room of the Shullsburg Community Townsend Center, 190 N Judgement Street. All objections will be considered at this hearing and thereafter the Council will take action regarding the special assessment resolution.
