NOTICE TO RESIDENTS TOWN OF CRESCENT MINUTES FOR SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING FRIDAY, DECEMBER 16, 2022 11:00 A.M., VIA ZOOM Board Members Present: Joel Knutson, Chair; Kyla Waksmonski, Supervisor; Mike Pazdernik, Supervisor; Tracy Hartman, Clerk. Board Members Absent: Carla Fletcher, Treasurer. Call to Order: Chairman Knutson called the meeting to order at 11:00 a.m. via zoom. The meeting has been properly posted and distributed in accordance with the Wisconsin Open Meeting law and the facility is handicap accessible. Approve the agenda - Motion by Waksmonski/Pazdernik to approve the agenda as written. All aye; motion carried. DISCUSS AND APPROVE CHANGES TO THE TERMS FOR THE LOAN FOR THE 2022 PLOW TRUCK – Knutson informed the board that the expected total amount of the truck purchase is more than what was approved at the December 2021 meeting which is causing issues with the Peoples bank loan. The board needs to decide if the Town wants to take out a larger loan or pulling the balance from the cash reserves. Hartman reported that in the 2022 budget the board planned for approximately $8000 in loan payments which remains available to pay towards the truck and the sale of the older truck came in at $13,500 which was also planned to go towards the purchase of the new truck. If both of those funds are put towards the truck purchase that leaves $3000 that would need to either be added to the loan or come from reserves. Discussion regarding the numbers. Waksmonski and Pazdernik expressed a desire to keep the loan amount at $197,132 and take money from reserves to cover the remaining costs. Motion by Knutson that the Town remain committed to it’s original approved loan amount of $197.132.00 with the balance due on the expected plow truck to be paid out of cash. Seconded by Pazdernik.
