Johnson Public Library Board of Directors Meeting, July 2026 Meeting Held: July 27, 2026 1. Call to Order: By President, Sonja Wiegel, at 6:30PM 2. Roll Call: Janet Trout, Matt Walter, Sandra Corona, John Knellwolf, Sonja Wiegel, Cindy Corley, Ashley McCarville, and Carly Winslow. All Present. 3. Motion that meeting and agenda were properly posted a. 1st Knellwolf, 2nd Corley. Motion Carried. 4. Approval of Minutes from Previous Meeting a. 1stKnellwolf, 2nd Walter. Motion Carried. 5. Reports, comments, and suggestions a. None Present 6. Unfinished Business a. Discussion concerning the SWLS System Fees for 2027. i. Passed at the system wide meeting b. Discussion concerning the safe deposit box access i. Old CD paperwork found-will be moving those papers to Janet’s Office eventually c. Report on past Library Events i. Children’s Theater Preview-39 participants ii. Totals for July thus far: 1. 1277 circulations with an approximate value of $17, 506.36 7. New Business a. Discussion and action concerning the fire alarm system upgrade proposal from A&G Fire Inc. i. 1st Winslow, 2nd Corley to approve A&G (who have also replaced the municipal building’s alarm system) to replace the system at the library. Motion Carried. b. Discussion and action concerning nominations for President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. i. President Nominees 1. 1 st Winslow, 2nd Knellwolf to nominate Matt Walter as president. No other nominations were brought forward. Motion Carried. Position approved ii. Vice President Nominees 1. 1st Winslow, 2nd McCarville to nominate Cindy Corley as vice president. No other nominations were brought forward. Motion Carried. Position approved iii. Secretary Nominees 1. 1st Corley, 2nd Walter to nominate Carly Winslow as secretary. No other nominations were brought forward. Motion Carried. Position approved. iv. Treasurer Nominees 1. 1st Winslow, 2nd McCarville to nominate John Knellwolf as treasurer. No other nominations were brought forward. Motion Carried. Position approved. c. Election of 2026-2027 i. By nomination, our officer elections results are finalized. 1. The Johnson Public Library Officers for the 2026-2027 Year a. President: Matt Walter b. Vice President: Cindy Corley c. Secretary: Carly Winslow d. Treasurer: John Knellwolf d. Discussion and action concerning support staff event in September i. 1st Winslow, 2nd Corley to allow and cover cost for all support staff to attend event if they wish. Motion Carried. e.
