FINANCE AND PERSONNEL COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES SPECIAL MEETING JUNE 25, 2026 The meeting was called to order by Mayor Roelli at 1:30 PM. Present at roll call were: Mayor Roelli, Kerry Black, John Sonsalla, and Steve Pickett . Absent: None. Also present were: Joe Boll, Kevin Andrews, and Amy Johnson. Motion by Pickett, seconded by Sonsalla, that the meeting notice and agenda were properly posted. Motion carried. Motion by Pickett , seconded by Sonsalla , to go into closed session in accordance with Section 19.85 (1)(c), considering employment, promotion, compensation, or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility; to interview an applicant for the Department of Public Works Position and the body permits Joe Boll and Kevin Andrews to attend the session. Roll call vote: All Ayes. Motion carried. Motion by Pickett, seconded by Sonsalla , to reconvene to regular session in accordance with Section 19.85 (2) Wis. Stats. to take possible action regarding employment, promotion, compensation, or performance evaluation data of a public employee; to recommend, if appropriate, to the City Council the hiring of a Department of Public Works employee for approval . Roll call vote: All Ayes. Motion carried. After discussion and consideration, motion by Black, seconded by Sonsalla, to approve and recommend to the City Council the interim pay for the following Police Officers during the administrative leave of Szvon Conway: • Sergeant Nick Mantsch - $40.03 per hour; $60.05 per hour for overtime • Detective Neftali Gutierrez - $35.95 per hour; $53.93 per hour for overtime • Officer Jaxson Lamb - $31.57 per hour; $47.36 per hour for overtime • Officer Mitch Long - $31.62 per hour; $47.43 per hour for overtime. All ayes. Motion carried. After consideration, motion by Sonsalla, seconded by Black, to approve increasing John Kammerud’s vacation time from 136 hours to 160 hours, and recommend approval of the same to the City Council.
