AGENDA FOR A MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE JOHNSON PUBLIC LIBRARY OF THE CITY OF DARLINGTON TO BE HELD ON MONDAY, THE 22nd DAY OF JUNE 2026, AT 6:30 PM, AT THE JOHNSON PUBLIC LIBRARY 1. Call to order by presiding officer. 2. Roll call. 3. Motion that the meeting notice and agenda were properly posted 4. Approve the minutes of the previous meeting, rectifying mistakes if any exist. (Copy enclosed) 5. Reports, comments, suggestions, and recommendations of citizens present. 6. Unfinished or deferred business from previous committee meetings. (a) Discussion concerning the Johnson Public Library Investments. (b) Report on past library events. 7. New business or matters to be taken up by the board. (a) Discussion and action concerning the SWLS System Fees for 2027. (b) Discussion and action concerning the appointment of a new Library Board Representative. (c) Discussion concerning a donation from the Wiegel Strong Foundation. (d) Discussion and action concerning the safe deposit box access. (e) Discussion and action concerning July closing dates. (f) Upcoming Library events. (g) Approve payment of the following May 2026 vouchers: Librarian account ACH voucher #1 and vouchers #4872; #4875 through #4885 in the amount of $2,928.20.
