AGENDA FOR A MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE JOHNSON PUBLIC LIBRARY OF THE CITY OF DARLINGTON TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, THE 26th DAY OF MAY 2026, AT 6:30 PM, AT THE JOHNSON PUBLIC LIBRARY 1. Call to order by presiding officer. 2. Roll call. 3. Motion that the meeting notice and agenda were properly posted 4. Approve the minutes of the previous meeting, rectifying mistakes if any exist. (Copy enclosed) 5. Reports, comments, suggestions, and recommendations of citizens present. 6. Unfinished or deferred business from previous committee meetings. (a) Discussion and possible action concerning the Record Request Policy. (b) Discussion and possible action concerning the telephone services for the library. (c) Discussion and action concerning the Johnson Public Library CD updates. (d) Discussion concerning the Library Board terms. (e) Report on past library events. 7. New business or matters to be taken up by the board. (a) Discussion and action of Collection Development Policy. (b) Discussion of Summer Programs and upcoming events. (c) Approve payment of the following April 2026 vouchers: Librarian account vouchers #4861 through #4874 in the amount of $15,682.74. (d) Set next meeting date for the June meeting. 8.
