FINANCE AND PERSONNEL COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES MAY 19, 2026 The meeting was called to order by Mayor Dave Roelli at 6:00 PM. Present at roll call were: John Sonsalla, Steve Pickett, Mayor Roelli, and Kerry Black . Absent: None. Also present were: Joe Boll, Cindy Corley, Kevin Andrews, Jeff McCarthy, Attorney Jacob Gardner, and Amy Johnson. Motion by Pickett, seconded by Sonsalla, that the meeting notice and agenda were properly posted. Motion carried. Motion by Black, seconded by Pickett, to approve the minutes of previous meetings. Motion carried. Under new business, motion by Pickett, seconded by Sonsalla, to go into closed session in accordance with Section 19.85(1) (c) Wis. Stats., to review an individual for the Head of Maintenance Position. Roll Call V ote: All Ayes. Motion carried. Motion by Roelli, second by Pickett, to reconvene to regular session in accordance with Section 19.85 (2) Wis. Stats., to recommend the hiring of a Head of Maintenance employee, if appropriate, to the City Council for approval. Roll Call V ote: All Ayes. Motion carried. After discussion and consideration, motion by Black, seconded by Pickett, to recommend to the Council the hiring of Casey Lange for the Head of Maintenance Position , with the starting wage of $24.00 an hour , increasing to $25.00 an hour after the completion of the six- month probationary period, and two weeks of vacation.
