AGENDA FOR A MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE JOHNSON PUBLIC LIBRARY OF THE CITY OF DARLINGTON TO BE HELD ON MONDAY, THE 20th DAY OF APRIL 2026, AT 6:30 PM, AT THE JOHNSON PUBLIC LIBRARY 1. Call to order by presiding officer. 2. Roll call. 3. Motion that the meeting notice and agenda were properly posted 4. Approve the minutes of the previous meeting, rectifying mistakes if any exist. (Copy enclosed) 5. Reports, comments, suggestions, and recommendations of citizens present. 6. Unfinished or deferred business from previous committee meetings. (a) Discussion and action concerning the Financial Policy. (b) Discussion concerning the Johnson Public Library CD updates. (c) Discussion concerning the Library Board terms. (d) Report on past library events. 7. New business or matters to be taken up by the board. (a) Discussion and possible action concerning Memorial Day closings. (b) Discussion and action concerning the Library Director taking two classes in the fall. (c) Discussion and possible action concerning the Services of the Library Policy. (d) Discussion and possible action concerning the Record Request Policy. (e) Discussion and action concerning a Library cell phone. (f) Report on upcoming events. (g) Approve payment of the following March 2026 vouchers: Librarian account vouchers #4847 through #4860 in the amount of $153,942.66. (h) Set next meeting date for the May meeting. 8.
