AGENDA FOR A MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE JOHNSON PUBLIC LIBRARY OF THE CITY OF DARLINGTON TO BE HELD ON MONDAY, THE 23rd DAY OF MARCH 2026, AT 6:30 PM, AT THE JOHNSON PUBLIC LIBRARY 1. Call to order by presiding officer. 2. Roll call. 3. Motion that the meeting notice and agenda were properly posted 4. Approve the minutes of the previous meeting, rectifying mistakes if any exist. (Copy enclosed) 5. Reports, comments, suggestions, and recommendations of citizens present. 6. Unfinished or deferred business from previous committee meetings. (a) Discussion concerning the Children’s Council books. (b) Discussion and possible action concerning upcoming CD renewals. (c) Annual Report overview. (d) Library Director Report. (e) Report on past library events. 7. New business or matters to be taken up by the board. (a) Discussion and action concerning the appointment of a new School Board Representative. (b) Discussion concerning the Financial Policy draft. (c) Discussion and possible action concerning Easter closing. (d) Report on upcoming events. (e) Approve payment of the following February 2026 vouchers: Librarian account vouchers #4838 through #4846 in the amount of $2,538.26. (f) Set next meeting date for the April meeting. 8.
