AGENDA FOR THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DARLINGTON TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY THE 6th DAY OF JANUARY 2026 AT 7:00 PM; WHICH MEETING IS TO BE HELD IN THE COUNCIL ROOM AT THE DARLINGTON MUNICIPAL BUILDING, DARLINGTON, WISCONSIN 1. Call to order by presiding officer. 2. Pledge of Allegiance. 3. Roll call. 4. Motion that the meeting notice and agenda were properly posted. 5. Approve the minutes of the previous meeting, rectifying mistakes if any exist. (C opy enclosed) 6. Reports, comments, suggestions and recommendations of citizens present. 7. Unfinished or deferred business from previous Council meetings. 8. New business. Including but not limited to the introduction of Ordinances and Resolutions. (a) Discussion and action concerning the following recommendations from the Finance and Personnel Committee: 1. Approve hiring an applicant for the Public Works position. (b) Discussion and action concerning accepting the engagement letters from Johnson Block and Co. to perform the 2024 City of Darlington Audit. (c) Report on nomination papers filed for municipal offices for the 2025 Spring Election. 9. Reports of Committees. 10. Adjourn the meeting.
