Pubic Hearing Variance Notice St Joseph Congregation

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE FOR VARIANCE Please take notice the Argyle Village Board will be holding a public hearing on Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025, at 6:15 pm at the Argyle Community Building located at 401 East Milwaukee Street. The Congregation of St. Josephs is selling of rectory located at 313 N Lafayette Street. This will require splitting the rectory away from the remainder of the St. Joseph’s Church & Dowing Hall lot. The variance requested for the Rectory lot will be 5-foot on North Street (northside), 17.5- foot to the rear (east side), 2 feet, 6 inches on the west side yard. The new lot for Dowling Hall and the St. Joseph’s Church will require a 14-foot variance. Dowling Hall on North Street, which currently has the front door only 11 feet from the street. You are further notified that the Village Board will hear all interested people, their agents or attorneys concerning matters contained with the requests. Anyone with comments or objections will be considered at this hearing.
