Village of Benton February 18, 2026 Special Meeting Minutes Members present: Ken Farrey, John Perkins, Jill Knight, Joe Slater, Scott Cruse, Chuck Wartner Absent members: Cal Robbins Village employees present: Sonya Silvers, Jared Roling Others Present: Greg Droessler The special board meeting of the Benton Village Board was called to order by village president Ken Farrey at 8:30 a.m. in the conference room of the Benton Business Incubator Building at 244 Ridge Avenue on Wednesday, February 18, 2026. In compliance with the open meeting law, proper notice of the meeting had been posted in four public places: the Zephyr Depot, Benton State Bank, Benton Post Office, and the Benton Business Incubator Building. Sonya Silvers was dismissed from the bid opening. Greg Droessler opened electronic bids and read aloud. The meeting was adjourned at 8:58 A.M. Motion (Knight, Cruse) to adjourn. Voice-all ayes.
