Village of Benton July 7, 2022 Special Meeting Minutes Members present: Gary McCrea, Jill Knight, Kenneth Farrey, Scott Cruse, John Perkins Absent members: Cal Robbins, Chuck Wartner Village employees present: Sonya Silvers Others Present: The Special board meeting of the Benton Village Board was called to order by Village President, Gary McCrea, at 10:00 a.m. in the conference room of the Benton Business Incubator Building at 244 Ridge Avenue on Thursday, July 7, 2022. In compliance with the open meeting law, proper notice of the meeting had been posted in four public places; the Zephyr Depot, Benton State Bank, Benton Post Office, and the Benton Business Incubator Building. The Certified Survey Map from Keith Dalsing was presented to the board for approval. This is for the 3.3 acres that will be sold to Lafayette County for the Housing Project. Motion (Knight, Perkins) to approve the Certified Survey Map from Keith Dalsing as presented for the 3.3 acres that will be sold to Lafayette County for the housing project. Roll-all ayes. Carried Meeting adjourned at 10:07 a.m. Motion (Cruse, Farrey) to adjourn. Voice-all ayes. Carried
