POLICE AND FIRE COMMISSION – 02/11/2026 MEETING MINUTES Page 1 of 1 POLICE AND FIRE COMMISSION Minutes – February 11, 2026 Meeting The meeting was called to order by Tom Johnson at 4:45 p.m. on February 11, 2026, in Government Center Room 204. 1 CALL TO ORDER 2 ROLL CALL MEMBERS PRESENT:, Tom Johnson, Akela Lloyd*, Maria Cuzzo, Ed Anderson ABSENT: Brett Foote, Sarah Anderson CITY STAFF PRESENT: HR Specialist Deb Williams, Fire Chief Camron Vollbrecht, Police Chief Paul Winterscheidt*, Administrative Assistant Angie Harker *virtual 3 RECOGNITION OF NOTICE TO PUBLIC 4 APPROVAL OF MINUTES 4.1 Police and Fire Commission (Meeting held 01/14/2026). A correction to the minutes was noted to reflect that Maria Cuzzo was in attendance but was inadvertently omitted from the list of those present. MOTION to approve the corrected minutes by Ed Anderson, was seconded by Tom Johnson, and carried. 5 RECURRING BUSINESS 5.1 Police and Fire Department Updates 6 NEW BUSINESS 6.1 Letter from Chief Vollbrecht – Completion of Probation, Jesse Brown MOTION to approve by Maria Cuzzo, was seconded by Ed Anderson, and carried. 6.2 Approve Police Officer Exam Plan HR Specialist Deb Williams explained that the exam plan timeline is accelerated due to recruit school starting in August. MOTION to approve by Maria Cuzzo, was seconded by Ed Anderson, and carried. 6.3 Review Police Officer Interview Questions (refer to closed session) MOTION to go into closed session at 5:05 PM by Ed Anderson, was seconded by Maria Cuzzo. MOTION to go back into open session at 5:26 PM by Maria Cuzzo, was seconded by Tom Johnson 7 ADJOURNMENT Meeting was adjourned at 5:27 PM.
