Deadline Extension for Candidates for
Third Ward Alderperson
for the City of Antigo to be Included on the
April 7, 2026, Spring Election Ballot
Pursuant to Wisconsin Statute 8.10(2)(a), the incumbent for Office of
Third Ward Alderperson did not file a Notice of NonCandidacy nor did he
submit nomination papers so the deadline for filing as a candidate for Third
Ward Alderperson is extended until Friday, January 9, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.
Anyone interested should contact the City of Antigo City Clerk, Kaye
Matucheski, at 715-623-3633, extension 102, or stop in at City Hall, 700
Edison Street, Antigo. You will need to file a Declaration of Candidacy and a
Campaign Finance Registration Statement.
Once these are filed, you will need to circulate Nomination Papers and
obtain between 20 and 40 signatures from Ward 3 qualified electors. The
nomination papers must be received in the Office of the City Clerk by Friday,
January 9, 2026, no later than 5:00 p.m.
