Minutes of Budget Meetings – November 19, 2025 Chairman Klimek called the 2026 Budget meeting of the Town of Schley to order on November 19, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at the Schley Town Hall. Pledge of Allegiance In attendance: Klimek, Brown. Leopold, Podeweltz, Dallman. Verification of posting of meeting notices. Proposed 2026 budget presented and reviewed. Discussion held on revenue around timber cutting and managed forest. Discussion on expenses relating to road maintenance. New town hall building expenses and final construction loan costs document reviewed. Earl Welker motioned to adjourn, 2nd by Andy Cummings. All ayes. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 6:14 p.m. Chairman Klimek called the special elector meeting to approve the 2025 tax levy to be collected in 2026 to order at 6:14 p.m. Motion to approve the 2025 tax levy of $128,526 to be collected in 2026 by Angie Cummings, 2nd by Andy Cummings. All ayes. Motion carried. Andy Cummings motioned to adjourn, 2nd by Earl Welker. All ayes. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 6:15 p.m. Chairman Klimek called the meeting of the Town of Schley, to Adopt the 2026 Budget, to order at 6:15 p.m. Brown motioned to adopt the proposed 2025 budget of $379,486.20, 2nd by Leopold. Roll call vote. All ayes. Motion carried. Brown motioned to adjourn, 2nd by Leopold. All ayes. Motion carried.
