Minutes of Budget Meetings – November 20, 2024 Chairman Klimek called the 2025 Budget meeting of the Town of Schley to order on November 20, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at the Schley Town Hall. Pledge of Allegiance In attendance: Klimek, Brown. Leopold, Podeweltz, Dallman. Verification of posting of meeting notice, including notice in the Tomahawk Leader. Proposed 2025 budget presented & reviewed. Discussion held on expenses relating to software upgrade, taxes refunded, fire dues, and a maintenance fee fund for future expenses. Discussion on the increase in earned interest due to the construction loan. Earl Welker motioned to adjourn, 2nd by Chuck McCrory. All ayes. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 6:08 p.m. Chairman Klimek called the special elector meeting to approve the 2024 tax levy to be collected in 2025 to order at 6:08 p.m. Motion to approve the 2024 tax levy of $127,299 to be collected in 2025 by Chuck McCrory, 2nd by Earl Welker. All ayes. Motion carried. Chuck McCrory motioned to adjourn, 2nd by Earl Welker. All ayes. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 6:10 p.m. Chairman Klimek called the meeting of the Town of Schley, to Adopt the 2025 Budget, to order at 6:10 p.m. Brown motioned to adopt the proposed 2025 budget of $375,562.11, 2nd by Leopold. Roll call vote. All ayes. Motion carried. Brown motioned to adjourn, 2nd by Leopold. All ayes. Motion carried.
